The best "scary movie" yet - Scary Movie Reviews

The reason I gave this movie such a low scores is because, without showing it, it's genius. Let me explain, because some of you might not see why. The directing is amazing. I love Keenen Ivory Wayans' style of direction. It's amazing. He only puts focus on the jokes, not on the details. That is key to a good comedy. Keenen Ivory is awesome and he deserves an A+ for this piece of work. I agree that Anna Faris, Shawn Wayans and Lochlyn Munro can do much better acting than they did in this movie, but of course, there were other actors that compensated for them. The acting deserves an A-. The fact i love Acary Movie 1 more than all the others combined is because it only parodies a couple of movies, whereas # 2, 3 and 4 make fun of at least a dozen each. Scary Movie 1 concentrated a lot more on having a nice flowed parody that made sense, instead of just throwing in jokes. The story (even if there's not much sign of one) deserves an A. There wasn't many visual effects. the ones that were there were actually very bad... But I think the cheezy visuals give a special effect to the movie... A better laugh and it adds up to it. I have to take away the A, however, because they're just not that great, but I definitely think they deserve a B+. So now you know why I gave this movie and A-... I think it's an awesome piece of work by the Wayans brothers. Some people will think it's stupid... I think it's brilliant.
